ICC recognizes and celebrates the achievement of players and teams over the past year. The last 12 months have seen brilliant performances on the world stage, including in the ICC World Test Championship Final, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 and numerous hard-fought bilateral series. Here are all the categories with their nominees. Like the ICC Player of the Decade Awards last year, fans of the game will have a say in the outcome of the results. Starting 5 January, 2022, fans can vote for the nominees of the following categories: - Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year- Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year- ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year- ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year- ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year- ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year- ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year The winners of the remaining categories of player Awards will be determined by the Voting Academy. The winner of the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award will be selected by ICC Management after ICC’s Elite Panel of Umpires and Match Referees recommend the shortlist.  For ICC Umpire of the Year, the Elite Panel Match Referees and captains of ICC Full Member men’s and women’s teams will vote to determine the winner. The Teams of the Year will be determined by the Voting Academy who will identify their teams in batting order, selecting a balanced team of batters, bowlers and one wicketkeeper. They will also nominate a captain from their selections for each format. What's the weightage of votes? The fan vote will make up 10% of the voting, while that of the Voting Academy will make up the remaining 90%. When will the results be announced?
